New inov-8 F-Lite 240 Red & Black Review
We’ve recently reviewed the iconic inov-8 F-Lite 230, and now take a look at the all new inov-8 F-Lite 240 Red & Black, which are an evolution of the inov-8 F-Lite 230.
The new inov-8 F-Lite 240 now boasts an injected EVA midsole which makes it a smooth and comfortable ride. The sticky rubber outsole delivers the ultimate grip and stability, while a 6mm drop keeps you close to the ground and Rope-Tec reinforcements ensure burn protection on rope climbs.
One of the lightest shoes in the range, the inov-8 F-Lite 240 has a low profile (the 6mm drop mentioned above) which is ideal for athletes with a developed natural running style and for lifts requiring a low, stable platform.
The newly updated inov-8 F-Lite 240 is ideal for CrossFit beginners and experts alike! It features a comprehensive range of technologies that are designed to enhance comfort and performance, making them great for functional fitness as well as offering a natural transition to running, which often come up in WODs.
The injected EVA midsole delivers increased cushioning and memory retention for additional comfort, whilst structural reinforcements to the medial and lateral sections of the sole (the Rope-Tec) increase protection for climbing ropes and offer additional grip in that area which is used to clamp down on the rope.
The renowned F-Lite outsole compound adds additional grip for superb traction and high performance, while the TPU overlay that straddles the forefoot sections and toe box increases the longevity of an area that can be particularly susceptible to excessive wear.
The standard fit offers a wider toe box which allows the toes to splay naturally, and they are perfect for the forefoot striker, athletes with a wider foot and when lifting weights.
This is a great all round functional fitness performer, while the styling and new colour-ways (like this all red and black) just make you look good while on the move! They are an exceptional shoe that you need to include in your collection.
