As you should know, especially if you are going on long runs, you need to take your essentials and an efficient way to carry them, would be in a waistpack or backpack. We previously reviewed the inov-8 RACE ELITE 25 super efficient volume pack, and now we check out the inov-8 RACE PRO 4.
It is very lightweight (weighs only 220 grams) and is comfortable so you don’t feel like constricted or uncomfortable. The ergonomic, anatomical shoulder straps minimise any restriction.
Pleasingly, inov-8 RACE PRO 4 is highly functional and shrieks versatility because of its compatibility with the H2Orizontal hydration system. It is secured in a zipped pocket and you don’t have to remove the reservoir out of the bag to fill it (reservoir sold separately). It has a generous pouch which is spacious enough to keep your personal belongings, safe and secure as you tear up the trail.
The left and right bladder pocket outlets allow you to drink from whichever side, you feel is most comfortable. Elastic webbing has been fitted on the shoulder straps so that the bladder pipe is fixed for optimal position when it needs to be accessed.
You will also have easy excess to your items, which is necessary when you are on the run. Easy access is allowed by the inclusion of the stretch mesh hip pocket, which incidentally is also weather-proof, sheltering your items from undesirable weather activity. It is also pretty stylish – its black and lime design is quite easy on the eyes. The safety of users has been considered as there are high visibility twin zip pullers as well as night and day visibility webbing with reflective strips. The inov-8 RACE PRO 4 is bound to make those lengthy runs a bit more enjoyable.
