Running injuries plague us all – whether these injuries are something small or something a little more serious, they will hinder your performance and enjoyment of your run. They stem from pushing yourself too hard, previous problems coming back to haunt you, or picked up from troubles while running. It’s an unfortunate part of the sport we love.
Although there are many ways to combat common running injuries, like choosing the right shoes for you, as much as 40-50% of all runners will experience some form of injury in their lifetime.
