General competition details

There are seven scored events per division (men, women and teams), with no cuts – i.e. everyone will compete at every event, unless disqualified or they fail to complete any minimum work requirements.

After each event, each athlete obtains a score based on his/her/team placing/rank and points are allocated accordingly (one for 1st, two for 2nd, etc.). After all seven events, the athletes/team with the lowest overall points will be the winners. In the African region, only the first placed man, woman and team will go to the final Games in the USA.
